August 2011: Masai Mara, Kenya, Africa

We spent 6 days in Masai Mara. The first and last nights we stayed in a campsite just outside the reserve. The other 4 nights we roughed it out in tents in the middle of Masai Mara. Yes we had sentries (aka Masai Warrior) on guard while we slept. It was a rewarding trip. The ultimate was catching the wildebeests crossing the river. We managed to capture the big five and many more animals. We visited Maji Moto Village and did portraits of children at two nearby schools. We printed 5X7s and had them delivered to the school. It was an amazing trip.
